SBI offers a variety of digital cards which are carefully designed to meet the financial needs of cardholders. SBI credit cards offer a variety of benefits, including low finance rates and an outstanding rewards programme.

If you lose your SBI Credit Card or discover a purchase that incurred without your knowledge, you should hotlist the SBI Credit Card lost as soon as possible. SBI Credit Cards can be blocked in a variety of ways.

If you submit a request using one of the following methods, you should receive a confirmation SMS and email to your registered mobile number and address. If you do not obtain confirmation, call the SBI Card Helpline at 1860 180 1290. Once your SBI credit card has been blocked, it cannot be reactivated.

When the SBI Credit Card is reissued, a new card with a different number will be sent to your registered mailing address. After making the request to reissue/replace the card, you will receive the new SBI Credit Card within 7 working days. A replacement fee of Rs 100 + tax will be charged in the case of reissue/replacement.

  • Netbanking via credit card

If you have opted for Netbanking as SBI Credit Card Payment option, then go to sbicard.com and log into your account with the proper credentials to access credit card netbanking. If you’ve signed in, go to the Requests tab on the webpage and click on ‘Report Lost/Stolen Card.’ Choose the card number from the sbi credit card that has gone missing. Select “reissue wallet” and then “send” if you want a new card. The card will be blocked until your request is processed.

  • Make use of the mobile app

On the SBI mobile app, log in with the appropriate credentials. Under the menu choice, select “Service Request.” Tap the ‘Report Lost/Stolen’ card. Now pick a card number that has been lost or stolen. Also, if you want to reissue the sbi credit card, pick “Reissue Card” and press “Send.”

  • Call the toll-free number

On the SBI Card Helpline, dial 18601801290 and choose your preferred language. Press 2 to report cards that have been lost or stolen.

  • Text message

To use the SMS service, users must send a ‘BLOCK XXXX’ SMS (the last four digits of their credit card) from their registered mobile number to the number 5676791.
